Accreditation Standard CFR 2.3 requires that “institution’s student learning outcomes and standards of performance are clearly stated at the course, program, and, as appropriate, institutional level”. According to the Faculty Handbook, course syllabi should include basic course information as well as the learning outcomes or course objectives. To remain compliant the Office of Institutional Effectiveness has implemented a process for collecting and reviewing course syllabi.
