The Health & Wellness Center provides a variety of services to meet the healthcare needs of students in a personal, confidential, and non-judgmental atmosphere.

General Services

  • Allergy injections
  • Consultation and education
  • Diagnostic screening for vision, hearing, heart (EKG) and blood pressure
  • General health education and referrals 
  • General physical exams, sports, and travel physicals
  • Laboratory (phlebotomy) services
  • Over-the-counter medications
  • Phone/Walk-in Triage
  • Prescriptions and refills for most medications
  • Recommendation of travel immunizations
  • Referrals to off-campus specialists and/or outside facilities such as radiology, MRI, ultrasound, and etc.
  • Routine immunizations – Hepatitis B, MMR, Tdap, Menactra/Menveo, Varivax, TB tests (PPD and QuantiFERON Gold Plus), and flu vaccine
  • Treatment of a broad range of primary care illnesses and injuries
  • Treatment of sports injuries 

Other Health Services

  • Breast exams 
  • Diagnosis and treatment of genital and urologic problems such as testicular rashes, hernia/groin strain, and vaginal infections
  • Diagnosis and treatment of sexually transmitted infections (STI)
  • Emergency contraception (Plan B)  
  • Gardasil vaccine (licensed for men and women between 9-26 years of age)  
  • Prescriptions and refills for contraceptives including birth control pills  
  • PAP smears and pelvic exams  
  • Pregnancy testing  
  • Referrals to specialists and other facilities as warranted 
  • Sexual health education
