Wardman Library offers students, faculty, and staff two options for obtaining materials not held in our collections: LINK+ and Interlibrary Loan.
LINK+ is a free, easy, and convenient book request service that allows users at over 50 participating academic and public libraries to submit requests for books that are not available at their own institution. After a Wardman Library user initiates a LINK+ request, a courier delivers the requested book(s) to the library for checkout, generally in two to four days. Users will receive an email once the item has arrived.
Interlibrary Loan (ILL) is also free of charge and used to request journal articles or books that are not available via LINK+. Books are sent through the mail and may take two or more weeks to arrive. Requests for articles and book chapters are usually e-mailed within 2-5 days. Some requests may take longer depending on the availability of the item. Users will receive an email once the item has arrived.
