Whittier College is honored to provide our nation's Veterans with an education that leverages their military training and experience to prepare them for fulfilling careers in the civilian workplace.
Veterans applying to Whittier College may receive academic credit for military training and experience.
Qualifying military Veterans are eligible for the Post 9/11 GI Bill, a federal government program that issues up to $25,162 in financial aid per academic year. In instances where Veterans have exhausted their GI Bill allowance, Whittier College offers tuition assistance to subsidize the cost of a Whittier College education.
Some Veterans may qualify for funds through the the Yellow Ribbon program. Currently, Whittier College offers 20 undergraduate recipients with up to $5,000 in Yellow Ribbon Program assistance. To be considered for Yellow Ribbon funding, complete an eligibility form.
Assistance with admission preparation, financial aid, and GI Bill benefits is available through Whittier's Veteran Resource Center.
