Visiting Professor of English Tess Taylor was a recent guest on the KUSP Poetry Show discussing her most recent book of poetry, The Forage House. The book is described as "a far-ranging exploration of a family’s role in the United States’s past." She recently completed a promotion tour for the tome.
Taylor also regularly reviews poetry for NPR’s All Things Considered. Her most recent review takes a look at David Tomas Martinez’ book of poetry, Hustle. Click here to listen to her review on NPR.org.
Taylor’s chapbook of poems, The Misremembered World, was selected by Eavan Boland for the Poetry Society of America, and her work has appeared in the Atlantic Monthly, Boston Review, Times Literary Supplement, Memorious, and The New Yorker. Taylor holds a B.A. from writing from Amherst College and graduate degrees in writing from New York University and Boston University.
