Professor Eric Lindgren is an expert in American politics, elections, political parties, the media, methodology, and urban/city politics. Lindgren has extensive methodological training and expertise and looks forward to teaching quantitative methodology classes using STATA, SPSS and/or other statistical analysis software. His publications include an analysis of the effect of term-limits on state legislators, as well as an article that examines the impact of district elections on racial representation in city elections.
Before coming to Whittier College, Lindgren taught at American University and most recently was a Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of Redlands.
