Former child actress Andrea Barber ’99 made a recent appearance on the daytime talk show hosted by Katie Couric. The episode, which focused on where child stars are now, featured a number of former child actors including Candace Cameron Bure, Barber’s co-star on the popular TV sitcom Full House.
“She's very intelligent and smart,” said Cameron Bure of Barber who played a ditzy teenager named Kimmy Gibbler.
Barber left show business after Full House and subsequently earned a degree in English from Whittier College. At York University in England she went on to received an M.A. in women's studies.
In 2002, Barber married Jeremy Rytky with whom she has two children--a nine-year-old son named Tate and a six-year-old daughter named Felicity.
