Chillin' Boba ASWC Key to the College Award Given to an individual or group of individuals who has/have shown great support for the ASWC and dedication to all students. Flagship Facility Services Marilyn Veich Award Given to an individual who makes outstanding contributions to Whittier College and is dedicated to improving the lives of its students. Christine Hernandez, director of the Office of Student Engagement Ricardo Pitones, assistant director of the Office of Student Engagement Richard B. Harvey Award Recognizes a tenured faculty member who has taught at Whittier College for an extended period of time, honoring the recipient’s outstanding leadership in the classroom and/or exemplary administrative service to the College. The recipient has gone beyond the call of duty and has shown a true belief in Whittier College and its values. Associate Professor of Business Administration Gary Gold ASWC Senate Senator of the Year Given to a senator who goes above and beyond their expected duties to serve the student body by promoting collaboration within the Whittier College community, encouraging personal and professional development, and upholding Whittier’s Quaker values. Dalton Casserly-Simmons ’20 Miss Margo Latif Memorial Award Given to a student who exemplifies strong leadership skills, illustrates the values of the college,and has, through their actions and participation in the Whittier College community, enhanced and bettered the institution.
