Geirola’s speech focused on theatrical praxis and a movement toward its emancipation from certain ideals and cultural mandates that exist within society today. During the four-day conference, he also held a workshop seminar on the creativity and politics of theatre staging for students in the master’s program and presented his book, Dramaturgia de Frontera/Dramaturgias del Crimen.
