Former Whittier College lacrosse team player Joshua Wilkinson ’94 has continued to take his passion for the sport to championship levels. Wilkinson is currently a teacher and lacrosse team coach at Patrick Henry High School in Roanoke, Virginia. This past season, he led the team to their first-ever Virginia high school state championship.
“Winning the state championship was the goal set at the beginning of the year,” said Wilkinson. “The team worked hard and stayed on course led by a great group of seniors who knew what it would take to win the state championship. I am extremely proud of our program and our Roanoke Valley Lacrosse Association Feeder program.”
The team’s journey to the championship was not an easy one, but the team was determined to make history. Click here to read the story of the team’s victory detailed in The Roanoke Times.
