Kourtney Brodnax majored in critical studies in media marketing will serve as this year’s Commencement student speaker. An active Poet on campus, Brodnax was a member of the track and field team, served on the student athlete advisory committee, was the director of social media for the WC Sports Network, and also served as the president of the Black Student Union. She will be accepting a full-time position with Target as their human resources executive team leader. In addition, Brodnax will be studying to take the LSAT while applying to law school next fall.
