The interdisciplinary minor blends art, history, and French language and literature, and can serve as preparation for a variety of career and graduate school options.
The program also strongly encourages students to choose from a number of study-abroad options in France or French-speaking countries, providing them with the opportunity to experience French culture firsthand.
We find that most students who pursue French Cultural Studies come from art- and history-related majors. The minor allows these students to pursue further emphasis in studies that are French and Francophone related.
