When Adela Lopez was in eighth grade she was ready to drop out of school. But, because of singer will.i.am's College Track program at Theodore Roosevelt High School in Boyle Heights she is now headed to Whittier College this fall.
Lopez is one the 45 students enrolled in the i.am College Track program and all of them graduated and are headed to four-year colleges and universities. Lopez and her classmates were recently featured in an ABC7 story for their accomplishments.
