Whittier College students, faculty and staff convened on Wednesday evening at the North Lawn for the Poets for Peace Candlelight Vigil to reflect on world events and the terrorist attacks that have recently affected Baghdad, Beirut, and Paris.
The event gave attendees a chance to express their solidarity and also gave them a forum to ask questions to Whittier College faculty about political issues, terrorism, and religion.
This event was coordinated by the Office of Student Life and the Office of International Programs.
