Whittier College Professor of Education and Child Development Judith Wagner was one of the featured speakers at the World Principal's Leadership Institute recently held in Hong Kong, China.
Victoria Educational Organisation (VEO), a partner of Whittier College who provides high quality education from preschool through high school in mainland China and Hong Kong, hosted the conference to celebrate its 50th anniversary.
During the conference themed "Enlightened Leaders: Taking Action from Theory", Wagner, who is also the director of the Broadoaks Children's School, gave the presentation "Sustainability from the Cradle Up:Education for Sustainable Development (ESD.)"
Dr. Maggie Koong, chief principal of VEO and Whittier College trustee was an organizing member of the event.
