Professor Laura McEnaney, Nadine Austin Wood Chair in American History, has been awarded a George A. and Eliza Gardner Howard Foundation Fellowship for her post-World War II project entitled "Postwar: A Social and Policy History of Peace, 1944-1953." The Howard Foundation awards a limited number of fellowships each year for independent projects in selected fields. The Foundation targets its support specifically to early to mid-career individuals who have achieved recognition for at least one major project.
