The campus grounds and buildings have served as a backdrop for a number of major and independently produced films and television shows.
Location scouts or production coordinators are encourage to contact the Office of Conference Services as early as possible in the production timeline in order to ensure that required proof of liability insurance and other contractual stipulations are appropriately met on time. Fees for campus filming will be addressed on a case-by-case basis; daily fees begin at $6,000 and may increase depending on facilities utilized.
Whittier College alumni who wish to take formal photographs or portraits (engagement, graduation, wedding, family, etc.) on the campus must contact the Office of Conference Services prior to the desired date so that Campus Safety and other staff may be properly alerted. A minimal fee may be charged for photography. Insurance is required.
