Senior Spotlight: Giselle Fausto ’26 Finds Her Creative Voice at Whittier

Giselle Fausto ’26 shares her appreciation for Whittier’s coursework and connections

GGiselleiselle Fausto ’26 spent her undergraduate years forging a creative path interweaving art, storytelling, and collaboration. A graphic design major, she explored her interests both on and off campus, from working with local artists to leading her own independent projects.

One of Fausto’s main extracurricular involvements was through Whittier's local gallery — the MXCL BNL LAB — where she had the opportunity to meet and work with a number of community artists. She hopes to continue creating experiential, immersive projects in the future.

Having finished her coursework in December, Fausto is already gaining real-world experience as an in-house graphic design intern. She’s also taking on work as a freelance designer and indie project director.

We asked her a few questions about her time at Whittier and experience as a Poet.
