The Afro Fusion Dance Team presents their first dance showcase on Friday, May 6th from 6-7pm in Club 88. Doors will open at 5:45pm. This event will be the sole entertainment for Whittfest so make sure you come out and enjoy! First 50 students will get in for free with 50 free general admissions tickets provided by ProgramBoard.
The showcase is a combination of hip hop, afrobeat, and soca dances made by different members of the Afro Fusion Dance Team. Come join us as we celebrate an assortment of all different dances, cultures, and music. All sale proceeds will go to the Watts Labor Community Action Committee (WLCAC), which "is a 501(c) 3 nonprofit, a community based organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for South Los Angeles residents." For more information, go to http://www.wlcac.org/.
