The Wellness Coalition and Gender Equity Center want to highlight and support our transgender and non-binary students.
Our guest speaker, "J" will be talking about the transgender experience such as navigating health care, being misgendered, difficulties of being deadnamed, and more. "J" is a nurse who works with her hospital in educating medical staff on how to give gender-affirming health care. This conversation is a safe space where the LGBTQ+ community and allies can ask questions and support one another.
