Professor Geirola Publishes New Book

Professor of Spanish Gustavo Geirola's newest book, Grotowski soy yo. Una lectura para la praxis teatral en tiempos de catástrofe, was published in March 2021. 

The book takes an innovative examination of the career trajectory of Jerzy Grotowski, a Polish theatre director and theorist whose innovative approaches to acting, training, and theatrical production have significantly influenced theatre today. 

Geirola has written extensively on the topic of theatre and dramaturgy, with a special focus on Argentina and Latin America.
