His paper, “Nonconvex Regularization for Network Slimming: Compressing CNNs Even More,” was co-written with colleagues from the University of California, Irvine.
The purpose of the ISVC is to provide a common forum for researchers, scientists, engineers and practitioners throughout the world to present their latest research findings, ideas, developments, and applications in visual computing.
Park teaches math and computer science courses. His research focuses on machine learning, computer vision, mathematical image processing, numerical analysis, convex and non-convex optimization, PDE's, and scientific computing. He has a Ph.D. in applied mathematics, as well as a bachelor's and master's degree, from UCLA.
