Student with art workWhittier College students’ artwork shined in a recent event celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month.

Abel Diaz (Class of 2023), a business administration major, and Natalia Arevalo (Class of 2025), who’s majoring in political science, showcased their work at Heritage, a five-course dinner event held in Whittier.

The celebration honoring National Hispanic Heritage Month was organized by Anaconda Street Productions (ASP) Studios, which partnered with Whittier College to give students like Diaz and Arevalo an opportunity to display their art for attendees from Whittier businesses, the entertainment industry, and others.

ASP was founded in 2007 by Emmy Award-winners Tony Carrasco and Omar Lugones. Since then, the production company has worked to assemble first-class content creators for television, film, and digital platforms.
