The Student Life Awards recognize students who are engaged on campus, have shown leadership, and whose contributions have had a positive impact on campus throughout the 2019-2020 academic year.
The awards honor individual students as well as groups of students who have come together to provide enriching programming for the campus community.
Senior Keys
Senior Keys are presented to select members of the senior class who go above and beyond and stand out for their meritorious service to the Whittier College community. These students are leaders of multiple clubs and are broadly recognized by the student body for their work. Recipients were selected based on their time and effort spent in the name of Whittier College, the diversity of their activities, and their impact on other students.

Recognizes a student who has made extraordinary efforts in the area of diversity and social justice, working towards full and equal participation of all groups in society.

Recognizes an individual student or student-initiated service program for its collaboration and distinguished service to the Whittier community.

Recognizes one residential student and one commuter who has shown outstanding community development during the academic year. This award is designed to recognize those who excel at creating and implementing intentional experiences and building a positive community

Outstanding Program or Event Award
Recognizes an event or program that took place on campus which had a significant and positive impact on the campus community and aligns with the Student Life pillars of equity, engagement, support, and learning.
Poet Pride Drag Show
New Student Organization of the Year
The award is given to an organization that was registered through the Office of Student Engagement Office (OSE) for the first time during the 2019-2020 academic year and exhibited initiative, potential, and an inclusive environment.
Transfer Club
Virtual Engagement Award
This award is given to a student organization that has made positive contributions to the college community and community at large. The organization will have provided accessible means of engagement through online platforms.
Program Board
