Whittier reclaimed the shoes in a 59-52 victory against long time rival, Occidental on their home turf. The success was featured on ESPN College Game Day, Saturday November 16. The rivalry dates back to 1939 making it the longest standing football rivalry in the NCAA West of the Mississippi.
