The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged) posterSeeing all 37 of William Shakespeare's plays would likely take the better part of a week. Instead, the bard's comedies, historical dramas, and tragedies are crammed into 97 minutes in Whittier College's production of The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged).

Tickets for the quick-paced, irrrevent summation at the Ruth B. Shannon Center for the Performing Arts are on sale for November 17-19 at 7:30 p.m. and November 20 at 2 p.m. General admission tickets are $15 while seniors and student tickets are $10. Reservations can be made online at the Shannon Center website.

Written by Adam Long, Daniel Singer, and Jess Winfield, The Complete Works of Shakespeare (Abridged) is directed by Gil Gonzalez, associate professor of theatre and communication arts. Three students star in the madcap romp: Ian Clarke '17, Gunner Joachim '18, and Lauren Estrada '20.

The play was London’s longest-running comedy, having run for nine years in London’s West End at the Criterion Theatre.
