Selected from more than 1,400 entries, the Whittier College website was selected as a winner of a 2017 American Web Design Award by Graphic Design USA (GDUSA) magazine. Other winners who were recognized for website, interactive, and user experience (UX) projects include Amazon, Coca-Cola, Duke University, John Hopkins University, Lowe’s, PepsiCo, and VH1, among others. In a letter to the College, GDUSA Editor/Publisher said the Whittier website “performance is exceptional.”
This is the 54th year that GDUSA, the magazine for graphic design professionals, has organized competitions for the creative community. The American Web Design Awards celebrate the power of web, interactive and UX design to attract audiences, generate engagement and response, and promote products, services, ideas, and causes.
