Lee has spent her entire college career preparing for this.
As an undergraduate, Lee capitalized on many of the opportunities Whittier has to offer. She worked with the Weingart Center for Career and Professional Development to secure an internship at Goldman Sachs, interned with the College’s institution research department, and worked at Phonathon within the advancement department.
Double majoring in economics and political science, Lee was a devoted student—making the Dean’s List all four years, earned the Burnett-Bergerson Political Science Award, and was a member of both the political science and economics honor societies.
But it wasn’t all work and studies. Looking back at her time at Whittier, Lee remembers how her Thalian sisters enriched her college experience.
"My favorite memory from Whittier definitely had to be all of the events I had with my society,” she said. “Every memory with them was so unique, it balanced out all the studying I was doing!"
Lee feels that Whittier has provided her with valuable leadership skills that she will need as she ventures into the “real world.”
Her ultimate career goal is to work on a political analysis team in Washington D.C. to examine how politics affect domestic and global economies.
