Andrea Rehn, Whittier College, Digital Liberal ArtsAssociate Professor of English and Director of Digital Liberal Arts (DigLibArts,) Andrea Rehn recently presented at the Association of American Colleges and Universities' 2016 Annual Meeting #AACU16.

One of her presentations entitled "Playing to Learn: Open Education Pedagogies for Networked Learning," introduced participants to #TvsZ, an online web literacy game. Rehn explained the process of developing, facilitating and playing the hybrid pedagogy game which connects students across disciplines, institutions, and countries to develop digital skills, and intercultural competencies.

A different feature about Rehn's presentation was the concept of "perforating the classroom." Maha Bali, associate professor of practice at the Center for Learning and Teaching at the American University in Cairo  joined the presentation virtually from Cairo to demonstrate the concept which she uses for meetings and in her classroom.
