A total of 194 Poet athletes with a 3.5 GPA or higher have been acknowledged for their success in the classroom for the spring and fall semesters.
During the fall, a record number of teams accomplished an overall GPA of a 3.0 or higher, making it the ninth consecutive semester the Athletic Department has achieved cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher in the classroom.
The highest GPA on the women's side came from women's golf with a 3.45. On the men's side, cross-country posted a 3.47 GPA. The Overall GPA for the women's teams is a 3.17, while the men's teams accumulated a 3.07.
Other teams that achieved a GPA of 3.0 or above include: women's tennis (3.37), women's soccer (3.37), men's tennis (3.31), women's cross-country (3.26), softball (3.23), women's track and field (3.21), men's soccer (3.19), volleyball (3.18), men's swimming and diving (3.10), men's golf (3.08), women's water polo (3.08), baseball (3.06), men's lacrosse (3.06), men's track and field (3.05), and women's swimming and diving (3.01).
