Alumna Dawn Finley’s ’00 Feminist Library On Wheels (FLOW), a mobile library project, was recently featured in the Column One section of the Los Angeles Times. Traveling on a custom tricycle equipped with bookshelves, Finley and friend Jenn Witte traverse the eastside of Los Angeles to share feminist literature, textbooks and media with patrons. According to the article, the pair used a crowdfunding site to raise the $3,200 necessary to equip their custom "bookcycle" and establish a borrowing system. Read the Los Angeles Times article here.
