Event Description
Join Whittier College's Food Recovery Network in a virtual hunger banquet created by Oxfam America.
This Diverse Identities Week event is designed to raise awareness of the widespread prevalence of food insecurity and hunger. Attendees will be placed into three simulation groups with varying levels of food accessibility as we describe the struggles that can impact anyone.
The Food Recovery Network hopes to inspire attendees to take action against an issue that affects so many fellow community members. The first 10 attendees will receive a $15 gift card to the Whittier College bookstore.
