EPA Action Day commemorates when the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) first opened its doors on December 2nd, 1970. The agency was created 50 years ago by President Richard Nixon '34.
As part of this celebration, you are invited to a talk about President Nixon's Days at Whittier College led by Whittier College senior librarian Joe Dmohowski.
