The Senate meets every Monday night at 7 p.m. in A.J. Villalobos Hall. Students are welcome and encouraged to attend. There is a Public Voice section at every meeting for students to share thoughts or concerns. View meeting agendas and minutes with in the file section of the ASWC Engage portal.
ASWC Elections are held every April for the Executive Cabinet and Representatives. The First-Year Class Council elections are held every September and serve the same term as the other Senators.
Every year, the ASWC Senate asks the student body to nominate faculty and/or staff for three awards: Key to the College Award, Marilyn Veich Award, Richard B. Harvey Award. A fourth award is presented to a business in Uptown Whittier. Award recipients are recognized by the ASWC President at Honors Convocation.
