Elizabeth Schrock joined the Dean of Students Office in August 2015. Before to moving across the country to work at Whittier College, Schrock worked in Prevention Services at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and for the Sexual Assault and Violence Prevention Program at Vassar College. She applies this work, as well as prior experience as a social worker for youth, veterans, and people with mental illnesses, to the work that she does as a Title IX Investigator and Assistant Dean. Originally from Michigan, Schrock loves the southern California sunshine but misses the snow. Schrock holds a master's degree in Social Work from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Michigan State University.
Administrative Assistant and New Student Programs Coordinator
Frances Romo joined Whittier College in September of 2003. Frances held the position of Employment Relations Coordinator in the office of Career Planning and was instrumental in developing relationships in the business communities including coordinating Whittier College’s annual Career Fair. In 2007, Frances joined the Dean of Students Office as the Administrative Assistant to the Vice President and Dean of Students. Since that time Frances has taken on the additional responsibility of Student and Family Programs Coordinator and is responsible for some of Whittier College’s major events such as New Student Orientation, Baccalaureate and assisting with Whittier Weekend. Romo holds an Associate of Science degree from Mt. San Antonio College and is currently attending Whittier College.
