This five-year program leads to a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics from Whittier College and a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from a university.
In addition to the core courses for the 3-2 Engineering Program, the 3-2 Mathematics/Engineering students must complete the following 15 credits in mathematics
- MATH 242 Introduction to Applied Elementary Linear Algebra (3 credits)
- MATH 280 Abstract Thinking (3 credits)
- MATH 440A Introduction to Analysis I (3 credits) or MATH 480A Modern Algebra I (3 credits)
- Two additional courses in Mathematics or Computer Science, approved by the Math Department, at the 200-level or above (6 credits)
