Alianza members work to fortify, reconnect, and engage Latinx alumni and prospect students. The group provides leadership and resources to current students through mentorship and professional networking. Alianza's presence on the Whittier College campus and continued impact on students and graduates of Whittier College are a testament to the legacy and indomitable spirit of Dr. Martin Ortiz '48.
Whittier College and Whittier Law School alumni may join Alianza de los Amigos by completing the Affinity Alumni Association application.
Alizanza de los Amigos supports the Ortiz Programs which provide academic and career resources, as well as financial aid guidance and overall emotional support, primarily to first-generation Latinx students. To support this fund please reach out to development@whittier.edu or give directly online.
