Whittier College offers students interested in advanced studies in the health sciences, physical therapy, engineering, and law to take part in special advising programs, as well as participate in cooperative programs with affiliate universities or professional schools.
Pre-professional advising programs ensure that students fulfill the prerequisites to apply for graduate and professional schools as competitive candidates.
Cooperative programs combine specialized undergraduate studies at Whittier with direct admission to partner institutions, allowing students to earn a dual or advanced degree in less time than taking a traditional route, sometimes saving one to three years of study.
