President Sharon Herzberger started the new year by visiting Whittier College's Chinese partner Victoria Educational Organization (VEO) in Hong Kong. President Herzberger toured VEO's Causeway Bay Victoria International Kindergarten along with VEO Chief Principal and Whittier College trustee Dr. Maggie Koong.
Several Whittier College students have done teaching practicums and participated in pair-teaching at three different preschools operated by VEO.
President Herzberger also had the opportunity to meet with Whittier alumni, parents, students, and friends in Shanghai.
