The Health & Wellness Center now offers nutritional consults for students!

Nutrition Services is designed to educate students in order to help prevent nutrition-related health problems such as eating disorders, obesity, and body image disorders, which all affect student life both in and outside of the classroom. 

What is a Registered Dietitian? 

A registered dietitian is a nutrition expert who has met various academic, professional, and practicing requirements and has passed the state licensing exam to hold the title of an RD.

Kylene Rodriguez MS, MS, RD, CNSC is the Whittier College dietician. She obtained her Masters in Nutrition and completed her accredited dietetic internship at California State University, Los Angeles. She also received advanced certification as a Certified Nutrition Support Clinician. She enjoys working with people and is passionate about making an impact on people’s lives through nutrition.

The College dietitian is available once a month. The day varies by month, so call to reserve your appointment. There is no charge for this service. This service is only available to students.
