Poetry reading by nationally acclaimed author, Karen Swenson

ADD: Karen Swenson is a poet published many times over and a journalist who writes for the New York Times and the Wall Street Journal. Her books include An Attic of Ideals, East-West, A Sense of Direction, and The Landlady in Bangkok, which won the prestigious National Poetry Series Prize in 1993.

Swenson has taught in numerous universities and has won a variety of awards for her writing.

Her reading will take place at the Johnson Faculty Master House at Whittier College, located on Philadelphia Street, just north of Painter Avenue.
