ADD: Gary Stroutsos--an acclaimed flutist as well as composer, recording artist and educator--brings to music what it has long deserved: world music influenced by Native American traditions. Through his music performed on the Native American cedarwood flute and the wooden concert flute, Stroutsos is committed to the integrity of the music, instrument and history he is sharing. He is a teller of tales through music, and has lent his talents to an appearance at the White House as well as a television appearance on "Lewis and Clark." With three melodic CD's to his name, Gary Stroutsos will fill the afternoon with a combination of original and traditional Native American compositions to produce a truly rewarding journey.
