The Peking Acrobats of China

WHAT: The Peking Acrobats of China

WHEN: Monday, January 17, 7:30 p.m.

WHERE: The Ruth B. Shannon Center for the Performing Arts at Whittier College

COST: $35 orchestra and center balcony and mezzanine, $25 side balcony and mezzanine

ADD: The Peking Acrobats-a 28-member troupe-bring their lively 2,000-year-old tradition of acrobatics to the Shannon Center. With gifted tumblers, contortionists, jugglers, cyclists, gymnasts and live musicians playing traditional Chinese instruments, "[They] pass from the seemingly impossible to the virtually unbelievable," (Los Angeles Times).

This memorable performance will include incredible feats such as treacherous wire walking, trick cycling and powerful precision tumbling, somersaulting and gymnastics. In fact, they are nothing short of ". . . amazing, stunning and breathtaking," (Seattle Times).

A sure treat for the entire family, the Peking Acrobats should not be missed.
