Whittier Men’s Lacrosse Team
Hosts California’s First NCAA
Division III men’s lacrosse playoff meet between
and Eastern Connecticut State University.

Whittier College Poets will host the first NCAA men’s lacrosse
playoff game ever to be played in California. Ranked eighth in a
recent Division III coaches poll, the Poets received the #4 seed
in the North region in brackets announced last Sunday by the
NCAA Men’s Lacrosse Committee.
Whittier enters the game with an overall record of 12–1, while
is 13–2 for the season. The two teams met
in March in a game played at

the Poets won 17–7.
Eastern Connecticut is making its second consecutive NCAA
playoff appearance as
