ADD: Brer Rabbit is a small rabbit famed for his quick thinking and his quick feet. His friends Brer Bear and Brer Fox are not quite as crafty, and often find themselves the butt of Brer Rabbit's jokes and tricks. In order to get revenge, Brer Bear and Brer Fox plot different ways to catch this rabbit and put him into a stew.

The staged production of "Brer Rabbit" will be split up into various scenarios including: "The Rabbit Trap," where Brer Rabbit finds himself locked into a makeshift rabbit trap for stealing Brer Fox's peanuts; "Laughin' Place," which finds Brer Rabbit caught in a rapid chase, and "The Wonderful Tar Baby," which has Brer Rabbit stuck to a lump of tar. Brer Rabbit's daring and witty escapes from these predicaments are always fun, surprising and ingenious.

The California Theatre Company is a nationally and internationally acclaimed professional company whose production of "Brer Rabbit" is sure to please the entire family.
