ADD: If you pine for the gracious harmonies of Patty, Maxine and Laverne Andrews, you’ll love the Goils, and their unique tribute to the 40s’ most successful trio, the Andrews Sisters. Relive the classic sound of hits such as Rum & Coca-Cola, Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy and Bei Mir Bist du Schoen, as the Goils swing down memory lane with the sounds and moves that made the Andrews Sisters so famous. Diane Michelle, Lauren Leeder and Suzanne Wallach have been charming since 1984. Lead “goil” Michelle says the Andrews Sisters “set the tone for their era, but we also include lots of jazz, swing and popular tunes.” The Goils played the Queen Mary in Long Beach for five years, and they spent one year as resident performers at the Las Vegas resort and hotel New York, New York, in addition to touring Japan four times.
The John Peace Super Band was formed in 1990 and uses original arrangements of such big band standards as In the Mood, Blue Moon and You’re Nobody Till Somebody Loves You.
