First-Year Orientation is a comprehensive program that assists new students, their parents, and families in making successful transitions into the Whittier College community.
New students are assisted in the development of competencies – academic, economic, social, cultural, and personal – associated with success as a college student. Faculty, staff, administrators, and peer mentors work to ensure that students are equipped to fully engage in their college experience.
Orientation for First Year, International and Transfer Students traditionally takes place over Labor Day Weekend in early September. For detailed information, please visit our Orientation webpage.
