Faculty-Led Travel Course Workshop

Fall term is underway, and the time has come to start thinking about Faculty-Led Travel Course offerings for 2015 and beyond! The Office of International Programs will be offering workshops in October for faculty members who would like more information about developing and leading a new faculty-led course, as well as for experienced faculty leaders who would like more information about new developments in the Whittier College Faculty-Led Travel Program that will benefit their existing travel courses. 

In the past year, we have introduced several new resources and tools for our faculty leaders, and these workshops will provide related information and more:

-Using the Poet World Portal and other updated electronic and printed resources
-Leading a course, from the planning & proposal stage to recruitment and classroom management abroad

To accommodate everyone’s schedules, this workshop will be offered twice:

-Wednesday, Oct. 16: 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.  (Lunch will be provided from 12:00-12:30 p.m.)
-Thursday, Oct. 17: 12:00 p.m. – 1:30 p.m.   (Lunch will be provided from 12:00-12:30 p.m.)

The workshops will take place in the IT lab located on the ground floor of Wardman Library (next to CAAS).
