Study and Lounge Areas on Campus
Wardman Library has a number of computer workstations, study areas, and study lounges open for student use. Eating is permitted within the library.
Location: Rose Hills Center for Library and Information
- Monday-Thursday, 8 a.m. - Midnight
- Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
- Saturday, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
- Sunday, Noon - Midnight

Ettinger Student Lounge (located next to The Spot)
Whittier's student lounge provides televisions for entertainment and microwaves to heat meals. Students can also use their Student IDs to check out board games, Xbox video games, pool equipment, and more.
Location: Campus Center - Upper Level
- Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
- Saturday - Sunday, Noon to 11:00 p.m.
Center for Advising and Academic Success (CAAS) & 24-Hour Study Lounge
CAAS has more than 20 PC computers and printers available for student usage. Student visitors are required to check in and out of the computer lab through AccuTrack using their Whittier College ID.
Location: Computer Commons, Ground Floor of Wardman Library
- Monday - Thursday, 8 a.m. - Midnight
- Friday, 8 a.m. - 2 p.m.
- Sunday, 7 p.m. - Midnight
Additionally, there is a 24-Hour Study Lounge located adjacent to CAAS.
Graham Athletics Center (GAC)
Students have free access to the weight room, track, and pool at Whittier's Graham Athletics Center. It is usually best to visit the GAC in the afternoon or late at night, as many sport practices occur in the early morning and dinner time.
Location: East end of campus, off Earlham Drive and Canyon Drive
