Ana Gutierrez '96 
Associate Director of Alumni Programs & Giving

Ana joined the Office of Alumni Programs & Giving in 2006. Ana has primary oversight for two flagship alumni programs, Whittier Weekend (including the Poet Homecoming Festival, Family Weekend, and reunion activities) and the award-winning Backpack-to-Briefcase Series bringing alumni varied professional backgrounds back to campus to enhance alumni-student interaction. She is the College liaison to alumni affinity groups such as Alianza de los Amigos, BSU Alumni Association, and regional chapters in Hawai'i, New York, Boston/Northeast, Washington, D.C., and Atlanta. Ana works directly with the Alumni Association Board of Directors as a member of its Alumni Affinity and Mentorship & Professional Development committees. In addition, Ana manages the development of specialized alumni travel programs and affiliated benefits programs. A graduate in political science, Ana is also a proud member of the Athenian Society.

Caroline Galvin '08 
Associate Director of Alumni Programs & Giving

Caroline joined the Office of Alumni Programs & Giving in 2008, not long after her own graduation from Whittier College. In her role, Caroline is the College liaison for regional development in California (San Diego, Orange County, Los Angeles, San Francisco), Portland, Washington State, and Denver. Additionally, she coordinates and produces the Poet Talks Series and lifelong learning experiences for alumni and students. Caroline also works directly with the Alumni Association Board of Directors on communications, meetings, the Regional Development committee, and the execution of the Annual Poets for Others service event. A graduate in Business Administration with a minor in Studio Art, Caroline was a four-year letter winner and captain for the Poet Women’s Water Polo team.
